Set on 55,000 hectares of Matetsi Private Game Reserve, the lodge draws its interiors from Zimbabwe's rich cultural heritage — wood and copper, the country's historic “red gold,” with splashes of blue recalling the rushing Zambezi. Matetsi River Lodge is arranged as two intimate camps, East and West, each with nine river-facing suites including two family suites, connected by an in-between four-bedroom private villa, Matetsi River House. A 20-metre rim-flow pool runs along the riverbank, and an exclusive wine cellar offers eye-level views over the Zambezi.

Matetsi Victoria Falls sits within the 55,000-hectare Matetsi Private Game Reserve, 40km upstream from Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River.
The reserve is unfenced, so wildlife moves freely through camp — guides escort guests to and from their suites after dark.
A helipad on site allows fast transfers to and from Victoria Falls, alongside standard road transfers included in the rate.
The lodge can be booked on a full or part exclusive-use basis, including the entire 136,000-acre concession for private groups.
Matetsi holds access to a private Pilatus PC-12 NGX aircraft, operating charters to destinations across Zimbabwe.
