Overview
Kelly Hoppen, on the North Coast
A hundred and sixteen suites, residences, pool villas and penthouses on Grand Baie’s crescent beach.
LUX* Grand Baie stretches along a crescent of white sand on the northern edge of Mauritius, in the Rívière du Rempart district, and it is the flagship of the LUX* Collective. The interiors come from a collaboration between British designer Kelly Hoppen and Mauritian architect Jean-Francois Adam — neutral tones, natural textures and expansive indoor-outdoor living across 116 suites, residences, pool villas and penthouses. It was a first of its kind in the Indian Ocean, and the rooftop is where that ambition shows most clearly.
The rooftop is the point. The Indian Ocean’s first outdoor rooftop wellness space sits above the resort, with Olympic-standard running tracks and an adults-only infinity pool looking over Grand Baie’s lagoon.
