A single open-air star bed set out on the Kalahari plains — Tswalu's most private wilderness experience, a one-night extension to a stay at the Motse or Tarkuni rather than a lodge of its own.

Overview
A Sleep-Out, Not a Lodge
Malori is not a stand-alone lodge but a private sleep-out experience within Tswalu Kalahari Reserve — a single night added to a stay at the Motse or Tarkuni, spent beneath the Kalahari's uninterrupted night sky.
Set apart from the main camps, Malori exists purely to give guests one uninterrupted night under what Tswalu calls its diamond skies, far from the ambient light of any lodge. A simple, elegant open-air bed is arranged on a private site each evening, accompanied by dinner cooked and served in the open, with a guide and vehicle standing by throughout the night. It is one of two such sleep-out experiences offered at Tswalu, alongside The Naledi, and is typically booked as a single-night addition rather than the focus of a full stay.
Booked as an addition, not a stand-alone stay. Because Malori has no permanent structure, walls or check-in desk of its own, it's arranged through the Motse or Tarkuni as a one-night extension — worth knowing when planning an itinerary.

Guided Stargazing
With virtually no light pollution for miles, Tswalu's Kalahari sky is considered among the clearest anywhere in Africa.
