Open since 1913 on the most couture street in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower filling the windows of its upper balconies.

Overview
Nineteen Thirteen
Two hundred and eight rooms and suites on the street where haute couture lives.
The Plaza Athénée has stood on avenue Montaigne since 1913, and the address is the point. Dior, Chanel, Valentino and Louis Vuitton are its immediate neighbours, which is why the hotel has been the unofficial residence of the fashion world for a century. There are 154 rooms and 54 suites, decorated either in classic Parisian style or in Art Deco, with bespoke linens, couture fabrics and marble bathrooms. The rooms either look inward over the courtyard garden or outward from private balconies toward the Eiffel Tower — and in summer the whole façade disappears behind geraniums the colour of the awnings.
The balconies are worth requesting. Only a limited number of rooms and suites have the private balcony with the Eiffel Tower view. They book first, and they book early.
