Overview
Sapa's Terraced Valleys
Set on a remote hillside, the lodge overlooks the rice terraces and ethnic minority villages of the Muong Hoa Valley.
Topas Ecolodge occupies a hillside above Sapa's Muong Hoa Valley in Vietnam's far northwest mountains, close to Fansipan, the country's highest peak. Stone bungalows are spread across the hillside, each with private views over the valley's rice terraces and the H'mong and Dao villages that farm them. The lodge was an early adopter of sustainable, low-impact building practices in the region and remains a base for trekking among the terraces and surrounding mountain villages.
