Singapore is a city-state built on contradiction made harmonious — a place where soaring glass towers rise beside colonial shophouses, where hawker stalls serve Michelin-recognised food beside fine-dining temples, and where engineered rainforest gardens coexist with one of the world's busiest ports. Few cities anywhere achieve such density of experience in so compact a footprint.
Gardens by the Bay's Supertree Grove offers an almost futuristic vision of urban nature, while the historic districts of Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam preserve the distinct cultural threads that have shaped modern Singapore. The city's hawker centres remain a genuine culinary anchor — chilli crab, Hainanese chicken rice and laksa served with the same pride whether at a humble stall or an award-winning restaurant.
At Finders & Keepers Safaris, we treat Singapore as both a destination in its own right and a natural gateway to wider Southeast Asia — a place where a few well-spent days reveal a city that has mastered the art of being effortlessly modern while remaining unmistakably itself.

The newest addition to Far East Hospitality’s Village Hotels, this is a property designed inside and out for families. A Village Cart in the lobby hands out local sweets on arrival, which sets the tone: check-in here feels closer to a carnival than a formality.
Four themed pools spread across the grounds, including a Lazy River Pool where guests float beneath foliage rather than rush between attractions — and for many families that pool ends up being the holiday rather than the interval between outings. Family scavenger hunts, sandcastle building and aqua fitness fill the rest. The 606 rooms lean playful and efficient, with sun-washed, nature-inspired colours and wall-mounted hanging hooks in place of a wardrobe; connecting family rooms add two vanities and two bathrooms, which speeds up a morning considerably.
Imbiah Station is a minute’s walk. So, near enough, are The Palawan @ Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium and KidZania, while Sensoryscape Station next door carries the cable car up through the island’s rainforest canopy.
