Namibia is a masterpiece of landscapes. It is a country where towering red dunes meet endless desert horizons, where shipwrecks rest along wild coastlines, and where wildlife has adapted to survive in some of the planet's harshest environments.
The iconic dunes of Sossusvlei rise dramatically from the Namib Desert, creating one of Africa's most photographed landscapes. Along the Skeleton Coast, fog, ocean, and desert collide in a setting unlike anywhere else on Earth. Etosha National Park offers exceptional wildlife viewing around its vast salt pan, while Damaraland provides opportunities to track desert-adapted elephants and rhinos through rugged wilderness.
At Finders & Keepers Safaris, we believe Namibia is not defined by abundance but by beauty, silence, and scale. Every journey we design here — whether a sunrise balloon flight over Sossusvlei, a scenic flight along the Skeleton Coast, or tracking desert elephant through Damaraland — is built for travelers who appreciate the extraordinary power of nature, and the rare privilege of feeling truly small beneath an enormous sky.
Tailored for adventurers drawn to the haunting beauty of Namibia's coastline and the dramatic geological wonders of its interior. This itinerary connects four utterly different landscapes via private aviation: the pristine dunes of NamibRand, the charming seaside elegance of Swakopmund, the eerie desolation of the Skeleton Coast, and the ancient red rock formations of Damaraland. A sunrise balloon flight over the world's oldest desert. Fresh Atlantic oysters on a private catamaran in Walvis Bay. A low-level shipwreck flight over the Skeleton Coast. And a UNESCO rock art tour in Damaraland — followed by an immersive encounter with the Damara people and their extraordinary click language.

The quintessential Namibian safari for discerning travellers who wish to experience the country's most iconic landscapes and wildlife in absolute luxury. Flying by private charter, guests journey from the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha, and finally into the remote, untamed wilderness of the Kaokoveld — one of Africa's last true wilderness areas. Three world-class lodges form the backbone: Little Kulala for private Namib access; Ongava Lodge for exceptional rhino tracking on the Etosha border; and Serra Cafema, an ultra-exclusive oasis on the Kunene River. The itinerary is defined by its breathtaking variety — a champagne breakfast in Deadvlei, desert elephant tracking, and a deeply respectful non-commercial encounter with the semi-nomadic Himba people.

A journey into profound isolation, designed for travellers seeking the raw, untamed beauty of Namibia's deep south. From the red sands of the Kalahari to the dramatic depths of the Fish River Canyon, from the abandoned diamond ghost towns of the Sperrgebiet to the boulder-strewn hills of NamibRand — this itinerary connects four utterly different southern Namibian landscapes via private aviation. Kolmanskop ghost town at sunrise in complete privacy. A private 4x4 descent to the floor of the Fish River Canyon. A feast of fresh rock lobster in the isolated town of Lüderitz. Horseback and e-bike exploration at Zannier Sonop. And a deeply moving encounter with the Nama people — oral poetry, ancient music, and desert herbal medicine.

The Mole, Swakopmund, Namibia
The Mole was built in 1899 as a harbour wall. Long-shore drift silted the harbour up within five years, but the sheltered beach it left behind — Palm Beach — is still one of the few genuinely swimmable stretches on this cold, wild coast. The Strand Hotel stands on the site of the original 1905 building, reopened in 2015, with ocean on three sides.
Its 125 rooms and suites draw architecturally on Swakopmund’s Namibian-German history and soften it with contemporary design: duck-egg blue walls, earthy reds and browns, black-and-white photography from the town’s past, and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows opening onto balconies above the sea. A dramatic ocean-view atrium runs the length of the building.
Swakopmund sits exactly where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic, and few towns on Earth offer that contrast within a single day. Dune 7 and sandboarding are a short drive inland; catamaran cruises out of Walvis Bay bring Cape fur seals, dolphins and occasionally whales; and Living Desert tours track the geckos and chameleons that survive out in the sand. Three sea-facing restaurants make the hotel the town’s social centre as much as its finest address.
